Review summary
Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is a GPS running watch. 32" 3000-nit AMOLED, dual-band GNSS, 32GB offline maps, and Zepp Coach from 5K to marathon with gait, running power and lactate-threshold tools. 6 g without strap.
The trade-off is 5 ATM and no documented payments — not a swim/pay daily smartwatch — COROS Pace 4 is the cleaner compare when that is most of your week. It fits buyers who actually need a GPS running watch, not a one-product rotation.
The bottom line
Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is a GPS running watch. Amazfit’s dedicated runner — Grade 5 titanium, 45.6 g without strap, 1.32" 3000-nit AMOLED, dual-band GNSS, 32GB offline maps, and Zepp Coach from 5K to marathon with gait, running power and lactate-threshold tools. I'd shortlist it for titanium runner-first chassis at 45.6 g without strap. The trade-off is 5 ATM and no documented payments — not a swim/pay daily smartwatch — COROS Pace 4 is the cleaner compare when that is most of your week. It fits buyers who actually need a GPS running watch, not a one-product rotation.

How we wrote this review

How we assessed the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro: Expert Research from published manufacturer specifications, the stated role, and similar products in the same job. We have not personally tested this product unless a first-hand section says otherwise. Scores help you decide; affiliate links do not change the verdict.
We start with the numbers that shape the buy — case size, weight, display, GNSS, maps, battery claims and sensors — then place the product against alternatives that solve a similar training job. Feel claims only show up when the sources support them.

GPS & Navigation
Dual-band GNSS with 32GB offline maps and a flashlight is the navigation pack. Accurate GPS is listed at 31 hours — shorter than Balance 3's 41 h accuracy figure, longer than any Samsung GPS hour we can publish (those remain unpublished). Map polish still trails Fenix/Apex; it is a real step up from Active 2's no-maps GPS.
On-wrist comfort
48×48 mm Grade 5 titanium, 45.6 g without strap — lighter than Balance 3's 55 g titanium-black listing and far lighter than Galaxy Watch Ultra2's 61.5 g. 3000-nit AMOLED is the daylight story. Small wrists that bounced off T-Rex's 48 mm rugged bezel may still like this rounder runner case; it is not Watch9's 40 mm.

Runner metrics
Lactate-threshold pace, running power, gait and finish prediction are the Cheetah 2 Pro shopping trigger. Balance 3 does hybrid load and HYROX; T-Rex 3 Pro does rugged adventure. If you will not look at those runner fields weekly, you are paying titanium money for a Zepp daily that Pace 4 or Forerunner 570 may cover with a better ecosystem.
